About this Recipe
Hi! I think that most people already noticed that the christmas is slowly coming towards us. Instagram’s already full of Xmas posts and recipes and I actually can’t wait for christmas. So I decides to show you one of the easiest cookies ever! The smell of cinnamon and almonds are a perfect way to start december:)
Enjoy!

Ingredients
- 100g powdered sugar
- 1 tbsp cinnamon
- 175g ground almonds
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 30ml cold water
- (opt.) some vanilla
For the glaze:
- 150g powdered sugar
- 15 tsp lemon juice or plant milk
You can use any kind of ground nuts but I decided to take almonds like in the original cinnamon star recipe. I replace the egg with some more water and flax seeds.
Extra tip:
I personally prefer them soft and juicy that’s why I do not bake for long. If you would like them a bit crispy, just put it in the oven for a bit longer.

Step by Step Instructions
Step 1
Knead all the ingredients for the cookie dough in a mixing bowl to form a dough. Then place in the fridge for an hour.
Step 3
Place on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Put it in the oven at 180*C for 5-10 minutes.
Step 2
Roll out the cooled dough on a floured work surface approx. 5-6mm thick and cut out about 35 cookies.
Step 4
Now prepare the glaze and coat the cookies with the mixture. Let it dry for 5 minutes & you’re done 🙂
oh damn i tried them and they tasted soooo good. 🙂 Amazing recipe
Thanks! 🙂
