Über diese Rezept

Hi! These are my first and best attempt at making vegan brownies, wether you like a normal sugary version or a bit healthier one that doesn’t contain any industrial sugar & are high in protein. They’re both delicious & fudgy and satisfy every sweet tooth or craving after chocolate.


  • 125g Mehl
  • 250ml Pflanzenmilch
  • 50g cacao
  • 2 EL protein powder
  • 2 TL Backpulver
  • 2 TL “Smacktastic” (sweet flave powder) or 50g coconut sugar
  • 1/2 TL Salz
  • (opt.) etwas Vanille

For topping:

  • 50g hazelnuts
  • 50g chocolate

You can use any kind of nuts but I decided to take hazelnuts. I replace the egg with some more water and flax seeds. You could also add cherries !

Extra Tipp:
Ich persönlich mag sie eher weich und saftig, deshalb backe ich sie nicht sehr lang. Solltest du sie knuspriger mögen, muss man sie einfach etwas länger backen.

Schritt für Schritt Zubereitung

Schritt 1

Preheat the oven to 175°C bottom/top heat and line a baking tin (20×20 cm) with baking paper.

Schritt 2

Mix the flour, baking powder, raw cacao, protein powder and sweetener (or coconut sugar) in a bowl.

Schritt 3

Whisk together the starch, line seeds, milk, and vanilla extract in a separate bowl & fold in the oil.

Schritt 4

Mix the liquid mixture into the flour mixture, then fold in the chopped chocolate & hazelnuts.

Schritt 5

Pour the brownie mixture into the mold and bake for about 20 minutes. After 15 minutes use the toothpick test.

Schritt 6

Let the finished brownies cool for at least 5 minutes and then cut into bite-sized pieces. Enjoy! 🙂
