About this Recipe
Hi! I think everyone sometimes craves something sweet. But fruits won’t always satisfy these cravings. But it’s the opposit with those energy balls! They are of course vegan, easy, sweet and filling. The nice thing about this basic recipe is, that you can vary it the way you like it.

Ingredients
- 100g almonds
- 2 tbsp (raw) cocoa powder
- 180g medjoul dates
- 1-2 tsp cinnamon
- some more cocoa or coconut flakes
optional:
- 80g dried sour cherries
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1 tsp rum / aroma
You can use any kind of nuts such as cashews, walnuts, hazelnuts etc. It will taste delicious as well !
Extra tip:
After I formed the “dough” into little balls, I rolled them in some cocnut flakes, you can do the same with more coca powder or ground nuts.

Step by Step Instructions
Step 1
Knead all the ingredients in a blender to form a dough.
Step 3
Roll in some coconut flakes or other food like mentioned above.
Step 2
Make small balls in your prefered size. I made smaller ones.
Step 4
Put them in the fridge or eat them straight away!
