Hi! This quick and delicious one-pot pasta is a super simple 10-Minute recipe that is healthy, vegan, and delicious! Simply throw all the ingredients in one pot or pan, you’ll have a satisfying pasta meal for busy weeknights or any other day! As this just a basic recipe you could pimp it with some more vegetables like Zuchini, Brocoli and more 🙂
- 250g Pasta (e.g. Spaghetti)
- 1/2 onion
- 2-3 garlic gloves
- 3 tbsp tomato paste
- 160g tomato sauce
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 350ml water
- spices + salt, pepper
- some fresh basil
You can use any kind of Pasta, my personal favourtie are linguine/tagliatelle 🙂 Smaller noodles may be better for my one pot pasta, bigger/longer noodles are taking a bit longer to cook.
For a more intense flavour you should add the spices and herbs in the end when all the water dissolved. Sometimes the taste of the spices fades away during cooking a one-pot pasta.
Step by Step Instructions
Cut onions and garlic into small pieces and roast them with some oil in the pot.
Cut some basil leaves and mix it in the tomato sauce. Now pour the water in the pot and stir everything.
If it’s too watery let it cook for a bit longer and add some salt. You can add more tomato paste for an intense tomato flavour.
Meanwhile, mix the tomato sauce with the tomato paste and add it to the onions.
Now add the pasta of your choice and mix it well with the tomato sauce until they’re almost “al dente” and water has dissolved.
Take the spices and mix them well with the pasta. Don’t forget salt and pepper and you’re ready to serve it. Buon appetito! 😉
