About this Recipe

Hi! These pizza-waffels are, vegan, super easy to make and taste exactly like a fresh made pizza. Just in waffle-form. ^-^ They’re perfect as a warm dish or as a cold eaten snack for school. As this recipe is just a base of the pizza-waffle, you could still add some vegetables of your choice into the dough or some freshly sliced tomatoes on top. Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 250g flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt/pepper
  • 250ml unsweetend plant-milk
  • 30g tomato paste
  • 1 tbsp spices (oregano, basil,..)
  • 1 tbsp nutritional yeast
  • 1 garlic glove
  • some sparkling water
  • some oil for the waffle-iron

If you would like them warm again after you made them, you can simply put it in the microwave with a small glass of water. This way it’s getting fresh again.

Extra tip:
Using water with gas is a great method to make waffles, cake or bread rising faster and fluffier.

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1

Mix all the dry ingredients together and pour the milk into it. Now slowly add the water and stir it.

Step 3

Drop by large spoonfuls onto greased waffle iron, close the lid and cook about 3-5 minutes.

Step 2

Cut the garlic and add it together with the tomato paste. Stir it until the tomate paste is well mixed in.

Step 4

Enjoy them still warm or cool. They taste even better with some fresh vegetables on it.
